If the attachment points on your furniture are damaged or missing the threaded nut, causing the T-Nut to become loose or unable to be installed, your furniture may become weak and wobbly. These leg attachment plates can help you repair and strengthen your furniture by simply attaching them over the existing hole in the leg frame, allowing for standard metric 8mm(M8) center to accept your furniture legs.

Converting Furniture from M10 to U.S. Standard M8 Holes Some European imported furniture, such as Ikea and Natuzzi, come with pre-drilled sofa legs with M10(10mm) wide bolts, while the U.S. standard is 5/16" (known as M8) wide bolt. By using a set of T-Plates centered over the existing hole in your furniture, you can adapt your furniture to accept 5/16" (M8) hanger bolts.

These T-plates are 2" by 2" and are compatible with most sofas, couches, seats, and ottomans in the market as they can fit over existing and damaged holes in the frame. However, they may not fit large legs with pre-drilled holes larger than 2" by 2".
